A dozen things you can count on in a Bengal.
- 1. Exotic wild looks, bold colors and patterns.
- 2. Powerful muscular physique, yet graceful, agile and athletic.
- 3. Loves water, to watch it move, to play in, to wash their feet, and very particular with their drinking water. They prefer a cold fresh, FULL bowl of water. To expect them to drink from less, “is very demeaning“, as their look and cry of protest will quickly tell you.
- 4. Entertaining, funny, busy and playful.
- 5. Seeks company and companionship, sociable, friendly.
- 6. Loyal to the ones they love.
- 7. Loving and affectionate, loves to cuddle. Will snuggle and hug.
- 8. Strong memory, can think, plan, (will even work together with another cat) and execute.
- 9. Alert, always in tune to their surroundings. Example: Cat is sleeping on hubbies lap in the recliner, you open a can of Fancy Feast in the kitchen, hubby and cat are both now awake, as the cat madly leaped and spun from hubbies lap on a mad sleep crazed dash to the kitchen.
- 10. Very healthy, no breed specific known health risks
- 11. Easy care coat, fur pelt, little to no continual shedding
- 12. Glitter: the only domestic cat known to have “glitter” in their coat. The glitter is like a light that shimmers from with-in each hair to its tip. To see a Bengal with glitter (especially in the sunlight) is to be in awe of this magnificent creature.
